Recherches Ecotoxicologiques et Ecologiques en milieux aquatiques :

Etudes de l’impact de contaminants (métaux traces, pesticides, résidus pharmaceutiques, PCBs, produits de soins corporels) sur : 1) les stades embryo-larvaires et la métamorphose de bivalves marins (embryotoxicité) ;2) les juvéniles ou adultes de divers moullusques marins par l’utilisation d’une batterie de biomarqueurs situés à différents niveaux d’organisation du vivant : biomarqueurs 1) moléculaires (niveaux d’expression de gènes d’intérêt) ; 2) biochimiques (activité d’enzymes impliquées dans la détoxification et la régulation du stress oxydant, péroxydation lipidique, état des réserves énergétiques) ; 3) cellulaires (immunotoxicité, dynamique du système lysosomal …) ; 4) individuels (reprotoxicité, histopathologie…) (approches in situ, in vivo et in vitro).
Etudes de l’impact, sur les organismes marins, des éléments libérés par des anodes galvaniques et du courant imposé utilisés pour la protection des structures portuaires et des coques des bateaux contre la corrosion.
Recherches sur la qualité des masses d’eau et des milieux par l’utilisation du biomonitoring actif le long du gradient « Terre-Mer » (Mytilopsis leucophaeata en eaux douces et eaux de transition).
Contribution à l’étude de la biologie et de l’écologie de la crevette bouquet, Palaemon serratus, en Normandie (approches in situ et in vivo).
Etudes d’espèces introduites potentiellement invasives et/ou induisant du biofouling dans des écosystèmes très anthropisés tels que les ports de plaisance. Cas de l’annélide polychète Ficopomatus enigmaticus en Normandie et de la la rangie Rangia cuneata dans le secteur de Ouistreham
Suivi spatio-temporels des cheptels d’huîtres creuses (Crassostrea gigas) et de moules marine (Mytilus edulis) et saumâtre/dulçaquicole (Mytilopsis leucophaeata, espèce invasive) : prise en compte des paramètres hydrologiques (collaboration avec le LERN, IFREMER de Port-en-Bessin), de la contamination (collaboration avec le LABEO de Caen) et des performances biologiques (survie, croissance et qualité des bivalves, reproduction, niveaux de stress) (approche in situ) (Défi IFREMER MOREST 2000-2005).
